Increasing your mental energy, sleep and vitality with this ancient practice
Qi Gong means “energy through breath, movement and mindfulness”, and is an ancient Chinese system of moving meditation that makes the mind and spirit tranquil, improves performance, and cultivates health and well-being.
It involves purposeful movements of the body coordinated with specific breathing patterns to harmonize the internal body energy.
The end result is that mind and body are integrated and balanced.
Regular practice of Qi Kong has been reported to have the following benefits:

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or refreshers to Qi Gong who are interested to improve their health and prevent illness through this regular practice.
The workshop will incorporate both practice and theory, and you will learn about :
- Background philosophy of Qi Gong
- Fundamental theory of practicing Qi Gong
- What are meridians?
- How Qi Gong activates the meridians
- Optimum time for practicing Qi Gong and why
- Benefits of Qi Gong to your health
Followed by 45mins guided practice with Master Stanley Cheung.
Master Cheung is a qualified Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, Tai Chi and Qi Gong Master, and has been teaching Qi Gong for over 20 years. His teachings have benefited a wide variety of people, both healthy and ill, including those with chronic illnesses and cancer. He consults in both the Life Clinic and in China.
